The picture above was shared by Laura (Davis) Larocque. It was taken during the GHS Washington Trip, in 1960, on a visit to The Casino Royal at 14th and H Street, Northwest, "Washington's Smartest Cabaret featuring top entertainment from Broadway and Hollywood."

Some of the performers who headlined Casino shows during that era included Johnnie Ray, Pearl Bailey, Vaughan Monroe, Ella Fitzgerald, Guy Mitchell, the Four Aces, and Nat King Cole.
